POTOMAC RIVER FISHERIES COMMISSION
ADVISORY COMMITTEES

The Potomac River Fisheries Commission has three advisory committees:

Finfish Advisory Committee, click here for members

Oyster/Clam Advisory Committee click here for members

The advisory committee members are private citizens from the commercial and recreational fishing communities. The advisory committees have an equal number of representatives from Maryland and Virginia.

The Commission may, from time to time, refer issues to the related Advisory Committee for its recommendations. The Advisory Committee chairman may, also, call a meeting to deliberate and consider any item within its sphere of interest. The Advisory Committees submit recommendations to the Commission regarding modifications of existing orders or regulations, or new items.

NOTE: At present, we are not posting the home mailing addresses of Advisory Committee Members. The Commission Secretary will forward any mail or messages sent to the Commission. Please address mail or messages to:
